With Vanguard now in the wild for players to enjoy, users are exploring the many weapons available and there's been some familiar faces when it comes to popular WW2 guns, and the DP27 is back once again.

The Soviet Union LMG that was introduced in 1927, hence the name, has been common in previous WW2 games, and Vanguard's iteration can be a powerhouse.

Within Vanguard, you're able to craft a stellar DP27 loadout that will decimate enemies at any range.

Here's the best loadout for the DP27 in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Best DP27 Class for Vanguard

With a staggering, 10 attachments to pick on your weapon, you're truly spoilt for choice.
When choosing your attachments, you'll want to consider what attachments will improve this weapons weak areas and how you tend to play.
The DP27 falls into the LMG class of weapons, meaning at first glance it's going to falter when it comes to mobility and damage at close range.
However, the DP27 offers some incredible attachments for players to tinker with, allowing it to be transformed into one of the best LMGs within the game.

  • Muzzle
    • F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel
    • Kovalevskaya 6054MM
  • Optic
    • MK. 3 Reflector
  • Stock
    • Zac D3 Tak
  • Underbarrel
    • Heavy Foregrip
  • Magazine
    • .30-06 63 Round Pans
  • Ammo Type
    • Lengthened
  • Rear Grip
    • Stippled Grip
  • Proficiency
    • Sleight of Hand
  • Kit
    • Defender
This setup is tailored to best suited for a mobile heavy hitter LMG build, while at the same time you're able to use this weapon from range, thanks in large part to the high amounts of damage it outputs.
There's some Muzzle attachments that are decent for the DP27, but with most weapons within the game we've opted for the F8 Stabilizer, giving you increased accuracy and damage range.
Your Barrel choice really only comes down to the Kovalevskaya 604mm, as it has increases to both accuracy and bullet velo and range, a rare combination for attachments.
Your Optic comes down to preference in my opinion with MK. 3 Reflector being a decent one to try out.
For Stock, the options are average all across the board, so we've chosen the Zac S3 Tak choice. As it has massive increases to initially ADS speed and will making it a viable option for when you're moving back and forth with the DP27.
The Underbarrel option has been narrowed down to the Heavy Foregrip in our books. Making it one of the best pieces of this loadout, thanks to the improved stability and recoil control you'll obtain with this equipped.
The Magazine attachments are decent for the DP27, so we've chosen the 63 Round Pans, which increase the damage and range of bullets immensely.
We've gone with the Lengthened rounds for this setup, none of the other options are really useable. But, if you want, you can experiment with the FMJ or Subsonic rounds!
More recoil control and accuracy comes into play with the Rear Grip choice we've opted for with the Fabric Grip.
Your Proficiency comes down to one option, and this of course is Sleight of Hand. As with any LMG you're going to want to reload as fast as possible when you have too!
Your Kit choice will be Defender, as mounting this DP27 will not be a hinderance to you thanks to the increases in speed.

I would go with the Machine Pistol, simply because it's regarded as one of the best pistols within Vanguard. As well, you're going to need something fast if you run out of ammo in a pinch.

Lethal & Tactical

  • Molotov Cocktail
  • Smoke Grenade

The Molotov Cocktail is a classic COD lethal item, and it shines within Vanguard simply due to the construction of the maps.

While on the otherhand, the Smoke Grenade combined with the Piercing Vision perk we're going to outline is a deadly combination if you're mounted with the DP27.

  • Ghost
  • Piercing Vision
  • Demolition

Ghost will keep you off the enemy radar while is always viable at any given time. Piercing Vision allows you to see enemies through walls, and combined with Smoke Grenades, this can be a deadly pairing for hallways and other compacted choke points.

For the last perk, we've once again opted for Demolition, giving you two Molotov Cocktails in favor of one.

Field Upgrade

  • Deployable Cover

This Field Upgrade is hardly used within Vanguard, but we think with the DP27 it'll be one of the best. Enabling players to mount up and pick away at anyone who dares challenges you!
