LAN

Fortnite hasn't held a competitive LAN in-person event since the legendary Fortnite World Cup back in 2019.

Now, over three years since this event, Epic is planning on hosting their first major in-person event this Fall and it's going to be monumental.

Here's all we know about the FNCS Invitational.

Fortnite FNCS Invitational: Dates

Announced back in May of 2022, the event is going to take place on November 12 and 13 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, and will feature some of the best players from all around the world.

While this isn't a World Cup level of event, this is Epic's first Fortnite in-house event in numerous years, and this could allude to a World Cup next year!

Fortnite FNCS Invitational Prize Pool

$1,000,000 will be on the line for these 100 players, and for those who don't already know, they'll be playing the Duos game mode.

One aspect to take into consideration is that since this is an invitational, it's unknown if Epic is going to mandatory set up the pairs, or if players will be able to do so once all participants are confirmed.
