Valorant as a whole has been soaring to new heights, and with the release of a brand new Agent in the form of Fade, the game's meta has changed drastically.
But, not all agents are perfect, and Riot is looking to buff two in particular that have been undervalued in recent seasons.
Phoenix & Cypher Buffs Coming In The Future
The high octane Phoenix and the gadget expert Cypher are two of oldest characters within Valorant, and while they've been in the game for quite some time, they have gone under-picked in recent seasons.
Phoenix's kit isn't the best when it comes to gameplay, and Cypher on the other hand has been picked less in favor of Agents such as Chamber, Viper and Killjoy.
In a new AMA on Reddit, John Goscicki noted that the team is actively working on Phoneix, but can't share any details as of now.
"Upfront, yes we are working on Phoenix, but it is too early for us to talk about details of what it may entail. Right now we want to take the time to explore everything between number tweaks to to something more, unfortunately we do not have a solid eta on that, and we want to take the time to find the right long term place for Phoenix."
As well, Jay Watford noted much of the same in terms of Cypher, "Cypher is in a similar situation. We aren't prepared to share details or dates but he is definitely on our radar."
