Best of the best

With Vanguard now in the wild for players to enjoy, users are exploring the many weapons available and there's been some new weapons introduced into the weapon pool that players have flocked too.

The Sten has appeared in nearly every WW2 title in the past, and once again, it's one of the premier SMGs you can use in Vanguard.

With a unique design and high damage, you can transform this weapon into one of the best guns within the game.

Here's the best loadout for the Sten in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Best Sten Class for Vanguard

With a staggering, 10 attachments to pick on your weapon, you're truly spoilt for choice.
When choosing your attachments, you'll want to consider what attachments will improve this weapons weak areas and how you tend to play.
The Sten has a rather poor fire rate, but decent damage to make up for it. So, we've adjusted this loadout to give you optimal performance, along with attachements to bolster the recoil and accuracy.

Attachemnts

  • Muzzle
    • Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel
    • SA 65mm Rapid
  • Optic
    • MK.8 Reflector
  • Stock
    • Gawain Para
  • Underbarrel
    • SMLE Pistol Grip
  • Magazine
    • 9mm 50 Round Drum
  • Ammo Type
    • Lengthened
  • Rear Grip
    • Stippled Grip
  • Proficiency
    • Gung-Ho
  • Kit
    • Quick
This setup is tailored for up close and persoanl battles when using the Sten, and it'll offer players increased damage and accuracy!
There's some Muzzle attachments that are decent for the Sten, but once again we've opted for the Mercury Silencer, as it's always good when enemies don't know where you're coming from.
Your Barrel choice will be the SA 65MM Rapid, as with the increased fire rate, you can mow down a flock of enemies faster than before. As well, it makes up for the average fire speed the Sten usually has.
Your Optic comes down to preference in my opinion the MK. 8 Reflector is one of the best within the game.
For Stock, the options are advanced, with a ton of them being decent. But, we've chosen the Gawain Para, as it buffs your movment and sprint to fire speed, allowing you to become more mobile with this attachement.
The Underbarrel option is one that's subject to change depending as there's some decent options here once again. We've chosen the SMLE Pistol Grip for the Sten.
The Magazine attachments are vast, and we've opted for the 50 Round Drums, as with this loadout being focused on moving around the map more than others; the additonal ammo is needed.
We've gone with the Lengthened rounds for this setup, none of the other options are really useable. But, if you want, you can experiment with the FMJ or Subsonic rounds!
More recoil buffs comes into play with the Rear Grip choice we've opted for with the Stippled Grip.
Your Proficiency also has viable options, but Gung-Ho or Frenzy are the best options we'd recommneded going towards. Gung-Ho allows players to sprint while firing, which is key for a mobile build. While Frenzy gives your player an added bit of health after each kill.
Your Kit option is going to be Quick, as the more movement speed the better.

Secondary

I would go with the Machine Pistol, simply because it's regarded as one of the best pistols within Vanguard. As well, you're going to need something fast if you run out of ammo in a pinch.

Lethal & Tactical

  • MK2 Frag Grenade
  • Stim Shot

The MK2 Frag is a staple of COD titles, and will do a decent job at flushing out certain points over the course of a match.

While on the flipside, the Stim Shot will give players a little boost of health when they may need it.

Perks

  • Ghost
  • Tracker
  • Lightweight

Ghost will keep you off the enemy radar while is always viable at any given time.

Tracker allows you to see where enemies footsteps are appearing while moving around, giving you a bit of insight into where you may find your next kill!

The third perk is Lightweight, allowing you to move faster throughout the map.

Field Upgrade

  • Armor Plates

This Field Upgrade is bascially as the name entails, it gives players an added boost of health in the form of a armor plate the player will equip. This can be life or death changing given the situation, and espcially so if you're rocking an SMG.
