Now, in shocking news, Valve has now revealed CS:GO 2 and we're getting amped to dive into the Limited Test.

Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test: How To Enter, Dates and More

Valve has officially announced the release of CS 2, and it'll come in Summer of 2023.

With this new announcment, players will be able to dive into a Limited Test, or a beta for better terms.

Furthermore, to sign up for this beta, players will have to hope their accounts get selected by Valve to participate in the closed beta.

Valve has also announced the following:

Players are selected for the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test based on a number of factors deemed important by the Counter-Strike 2 development team, including (but not limited to) recent playtime on Valve official servers, trust factor, and Steam account standing.

Now, it appears that the Source 2 brand has been added into the developer pre-release branch according to Twitter user Aquaismissing.
