God of War Ragnarok will release November 9th, 2022 as revealed by Santa Monica Studios in their new cinematic trailer.

Being the direct sequel to God of War 2019, Ragnarok is going to pickup right where the first title left off, and for those who don't know, it'll probably begin with a minor boss fight against Thor.

Keep in mind, Kratos did kill Thor's children in the first title, and isn't going to be too pleased with this.

Furthermore, the title itself Ragnarok, translates in norse mythology to "the end of the world," so we can assume something is going to trigger this along the way.

However, Santa Monica Studios have kept plot details under the wraps.

GameInformer has recently been granted access to test out God of War Ranarok, and they've revealed some of the gameplay changes coming this time around.

• Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos can be combined with Fire/Ice
• More shields than before
• Atreus is much stronger than before
• Weapon Signature Moves
