Gaming products have evolved greatly over the years, and we've personally made some leaps and bounds when it comes to our gaming mice. But, if you're currently in the market for a new mouse, a lightweight one should be in your eyes.

What makes a lightweight mouse?

Essentially, a lightweight mouse is best classified as one that features a weight under 80 grams. This is large and in far the best route you're going to want to take when looking for a mouse for FPS titles or battle royales.

Sometimes it doesn't even feel like you're holding a mouse thanks to the engineering we've used to ensure players they're getting a quality product. But one that will give you an edge over someone using a mouse nearly double the weight.

Why you should use a lightweight mouse

There's various reasons why we think you should take the route of purchasing a lightweight mouse such as our ROCCAT Burst or ROCCAT Kone Pro Air.

These both weigh in under 80 grams and will be beneficial in FPS titles such as Valorant, CS:GO and other games such as Fortnite and Apex Legends. As there weight of these mice allows for ultra-fast flicks from one side of a mouse pad to the another (hey, if you're also in the market for a reliable mousepad, we've just launched our new SENSE line.)

Taking advantage of these ultra-light mice is going to pay-off in the long run, as you'll be snapping onto heads in no time, but, it'll take some time to get used too.

Another caveat that doesn't get talked about a lot is the health benefits when using a lightweight mouse, as it requires a lot more force to move a mouse weighing 125 grams from side to side, compared to some of our products weighing only 65 grams.

If you're looking for some further details on these mice, and why they'll be beneficial to you, checkout Yuri's video down below which details our ROCCAT Burst and why it'll be effective in the long haul for gaming.
