Tier List

Overwatch 2 has now released worldwide, and Blizzard's latest entry into the series has improved in all aspects compared to it's original release.

With an abundance of heroes to choose from, it can be a bit confusing to figure out which ones to play.

That's why we're going to runover an up to date tier list of all heroes in Overwatch 2!

Overwatch 2 Hero Tier List: Best Damage, Tank and Support Heroes

Finding the right fit for any Overwatch match is going to be a hard decision, espicially during Competitive matches, where team composition is vital.

So, there's numerous heroes who have abilities that outclass others, and will be beneficial on certain game modes such as Reinhardt on Push.

Below is a tier list for all current heroes in Overwatch 2, dependent on their role!

Tank

  1. Orisa
  2. Wrecking Ball
  3. Sigma
  4. D'Va
  5. Reinhardt
  6. Zarya
  7. Sigma
  8. Ramattra
  9. Junkerqueen
  10. Winston
  11. Roadhog
  12. Doomfist

With the changes to Orisa, and the lack of a second tank in OW2, there's been some key changes amongst the pecking order for Tanks. Reinhardt's shield is still amazing on certain maps, and Roadhogs solo potential as a Tank has faltered thanks to the current playstyle of OW2.

Damage

  1. Bastion
  2. Soldier 76
  3. Genji
  4. Echo
  5. Mei
  6. Sojourn
  7. Reaper
  8. Cassidy
  9. Symmetra
  10. Junkrat
  11. Hanzo
  12. Torbjorn
  13. Widowmaker
  14. Ashe
  15. Sombra
  16. Tracer
  17. Pharah

It's really a mixed bag at the top of the list for DPS heroes, as they all serve purposes depending on how you play the game and what kind of map you're playing on. For instance, Pharah, is fantastic on certain maps thanks to her ability to knock enemies off the map!

Support

  1. Kiriko
  2. Ana
  3. Mercy
  4. Zenyatta
  5. Moria
  6. Lucio
  7. Baptiste
  8. Brigitte

Most healers are in a decent spot right now, while Mercy is still the queen in terms of actually healing your allies. Other such as Lucio and Moria are beneficial in their own regards, and we're sure the latest hero added, Kiriko will gain some spots when she gets added to Competitive!

So, if you're brand new to Overwatch, you'll have to play a decent bit before you're able to play ranked with your friends! However, one way to master Overwatch 2 is to check out our Roccat Burst Pro Air.
