Overwatch 2 has now been released for quite some time, and players are finally getting into the groove for the new release.

However, with the release of OW2, they've gone ahead and revamped the entire ranked system, well sorta.

They've implemented new ranks and tiers, and have gotten rid of SR. So, we're going to run over how the ranking system works within the game!

How Does The Ranking System Work In Overwatch 2?

Overwatch 2's new ranks are what players are used, but they're going to differ as each rank for example has tiers within them now.

In terms of placement games, this is where it has become confusing for some players. So, to obtain your rank in Overwatch 2, you're going to have to win 7 games, or lose/tie 20.

Furthermore, your rank is also going to adjust every time you reach 7 wins, or 20 loses, whichever comes first.

As for your actual rank, listed below are all the ranks and tiers for Overwatch 2.
